BATTER SLOPE ANGLE
Batter Slope Angle is the angle of the slope that runs from the toe to the crest of a batter. For a concave slope design, the batter angle is measured between changes in slope of the batter.
Batter Slope can be used to assess compliance with approved landform designs. High resolution assessment of Batter Slope also identifies areas where concentration or acceleration of surface water flow may occur, allowing high erosion risk areas to be rectified before gullying commences.
